“My book doesn’t have as many chapters as yours…”
— Pearse

Why We Tell Our Story in Chapters
Somewhere near the end, when words were hard and the days too heavy to hold, Pearse turned to me and said:
“My book doesn’t have as many chapters as yours.
Please baby, don’t focus on what you’ve lost with me.
Focus on everything I’ve left you."
That one moment became the thread I’ve followed ever since. Because the truth is — our story didn’t end quietly. It was torn. We are devastated by grief. But for our son, Chè, I have no choice but to keep going.
So I write. To keep filling. To try and build a whole new story for myself, and a future that Chè can carry with strength, knowing his dad is still part of every step.
The Garden Nook Company was never just a business. It’s a book of little houses.
Each one a chapter of healing, hope, and handmade beauty. And every client who steps through one of our round doors becomes part of the next page.
You’re not just buying a space.
You’re stepping into a story.
And we’re so glad to have you in ours.

What Comes Next…

I need to build a new chapter for myself, our son Chè, and the boys Bowski & Laszlo.
Our story didn’t end last September when we lost Pearse.
It broke — softly, completely, like the closing of a chapter we weren’t ready to finish.
But still, somehow, the pages kept turning.
Now, every Garden Nook is built with the same hands-in-the-earth care,
the same heart and quiet magic we poured into the very first one.
This isn’t just how I carry him.
It’s how I keep going — for Chè, a young entrepreneur in the making,
who will one day lead the company his dad still lives within,
woven into every timber, every curve, every spark of design.
And I carry on for the boys too — Bowski and Laszlo —
who watch the builds unfold with muddy paws and gentle eyes,
and remind everyone that this is a business built on warmth, not polish.
We’re still writing.
And we’d be honoured to write the next chapter with you.
