🌿 Answers & Guidance
Questions asked by kindred spirits, answered with care.
❓ Do I need planning permission?
Answer:
In most cases, no.
Our Nooks are designed to fall within UK Permitted Development rights, so unless your home is listed or in a conservation area, you usually won’t need planning permission.

❓ How do you ensure sustainability?
Answer:
We build with reclaimed scaffold boards, preserved using the Shou Sugi Ban method and finished with non-slip, long-lasting varnish.
We offer off-grid options and deliver all personal Nooks via our core workshop.
For corporate clients ordering 5+ Nooks, we build locally—setting up regional workshops to reduce emissions and support local trades.
